After staying for some time with the King Jahangir, Guru Hargobind returned to Amritsar.
<br/><br/>When He reached Amritsar the people celebrated that day with great pomp and show. The devotees from all over Punjab reached Amritsar. That was the Diwali day.
<br/><br/>So the devotees illuminated the lamps in all the corners of the Harimandir Sahib and fireworks dazzled the eyes of people throughout the night.
<br/><br/>Though King Jahangir was his friend now, he wanted to strengthen his army even then.
<br/><br/>Therefore the Guru got constructed a pucca wall around the city. The fort of Lohgarh once again renovated.
<br/><br/>When He was satisfied about the safety of the city, He made up his mind to preach Sikhism in the adjoining villages of Majha.
